You are feeling exhausted, worn out, drained. You feel that far too much is being asked of you but you still want to overcome these difficulties and establish yourself despite the effect such an effort seems to have on you. You are a proud person, assertive most of the time, but at this particular moment you are acting as if you have become resigned to the situation. What you need is some tender loving care - a gentle pat on the head (or maybe a 'kick-up-the backside') and then you'll be raring to go.
You are a true extrovert, frivolous and outgoing. You need to feel in control of any situation. If matters are not proceeding according to plan you tend to get extremely irritable and perhaps become difficult to live with.
You are a demanding egocentric and therefore quick to take offence. This attitude makes people feel somewhat inadequate when in your company and so it is no wonder that at times you feel alone and unwanted.
It is said that we are all influenced by our environment and indeed you are no exception. It would seem at this time that even though you may be surrounded by people, you are experiencing an inner loneliness. Fortunately you are sufficiently strong minded to realise that life has a great deal to offer you and that you may miss your share of experiences if you fail to make the best use of every opportunity. You therefore pursue your objectives with a fierce intensity and are prepared to commit yourself deeply and readily. You believe that whatever you would like to do or think 'you can do' - you do! It is because of this attitude that you may be considered by others as arrogant and even conceited, but its fair to say that whatever it is that you really want out of life you will put your heart and soul into it and will not take 'NO' for an answer.
You are afraid that you may not be able to realise or achieve your hopes and desires and so you insist that people should accept you as you are and appreciate your rights to anything that you aspire to.

'procrastination' - whenever a tristen doesn't want to do something and does things that normaly bore him in effort to not do said thing
So Andrew did this Paul Goldin color test earlier today, the one with the color match up thingy. He thought his results were kinda cool so he posted them and from what I know of him they seemed fairly correct. So...I decided to see what my results would be, because not only was it a fun way to procrastinate but I was honestly interested in what it says. Anyway, when I looked at my results I had to share them because they are just ridiculously true. I had to laugh because my computer knows more about me then I do.

well this is depressing....
The following is the response I recieved from my french prof. in which I asked if I was going to be allowed to go to Grenoble:
Why do I suck so much....
Tristen,I emailed him back saying that I would like to meet the two of them as soon as possible, because frankly I am going crazy thinking about it.
Thanks for your e mail. I think it would be good for you, Victor and me to meet soon to discuss your situation. I think you have been making progress, although there are some issues from earlier in the quarter, for example prepositions with place names, that still cause you problems. Your last quiz was solid with the exception of that section. Let's discuss this together when the three of us are free. Talk to you soon.
Paul

confused
I love Thanksgiving, but the weird thing is that these last few days have been so very confusing. Mental, spiritually and physically.
I know the next few weeks are going to be stressful with tests and the like but I am kind of looking forward to the ordered chaos that it will bring. Plus being able to get myself out and run again will be nice.
Maybe one of the things I learned this weekend is that I shouldn't have more than one sleepover night a week. Otherwise I keep eating everything and get nothing done.
Go fat me!

i might be going....
So my teacher signed me up for taking the French In France courses on SU online. Which I think means that he is going to let me go. Because why would he sign me up if he wasn't going to let me go....
Well in the meantime I am going to assume that he changed his mind and is going to let me. And if I am wrong I will cry.

Random thoughts
So it is sunday....in november....and it is only a month till the quarter is over.
The question that I keep thinking about is weather or not I am actually going to be able to go to france. I think I am doing better in class but I really don't know. I guess the reason I wonder this is becasue I a keep telling myself that if you really want to go you should study and study and keep studing. But the thing is I think the notion of doing so scares me. I am afraid to get it wrong, weird huh. I guess it is kind of like when one was a big paper due but instead of doing it runs around with his head cut off because the idea of the paper in general scares him. Does that make sense?
And then I think, about if I do get there, can I survive? Do I really know french? Will it click once I get there (if I get there) or will I be running around lost and confused?
I know what I should do, and that is to study.
So let us start....if I can...

Halloween!
So halloween this year was chill but great!
Iliana and I decided to be Virtual Fighters such as Street Fighter and the like. So we made our own little characters complete with costumes and emblazened them with "QFIII" and "3...2...1...FIGHT!" We even started fighting at the party at our old house this past Saturday, I think some of the girls took pictures so I will try to add them later. Anyway, without doubt that party was fun and afterwards Bit and I went to the Rugby party and I talked and drank with my team. The weird thing is at that party I got molested (don't know if it was willing or not) by a boy who I thought I left months and months ago. Well whatever, he probably won't remember and I don't care.
The tuesday of halloween I hung out with the boys after practice and we went to CC's, I think it was CC's, but I am not sure. Anyway, we drank and then I went to the Rosebud and met up with Leigh, Amanda, Bit, Val, Iliana, and some of Leigh and Amanda's friends who I know but cannot remember. We had fun and drank quite alot, I remember sometime during the night i kept passing out on one of Leighs friends shoulder. Hey, what can I say he was comfortable and he even bought me a drink. Go me being cute! Yay! .....jesh I need to stop doing that...
So that was my halloween fun, what about yours?

Vancover Match
So this last weekend we (Quake) played the Vancover Roots on their field. We lost put I didn't mind because I was allowed to play the entire 80 mins and I did my best. Which by the way was very good. Anyway I had a great time at the game, but the game was just one part of my journey.
Since we had a game up there some of us decided to go up early and party in Vancover. I have to say that was a great idea! I haven't had so much fun in a while. We ended up first drinking at our Hosts house, his name is Jay, and then we all went to this leather bar and got more drinks. I liked the bar but I ended up getting a little annoyed because everyone thought I was a fan and not actually a player, do I really look that twinkish? Seriously. I had a great time though, and afterwards we danced at this club that one of the guys dj's at. I think we got home around 3.
That saturday after the match was basiclly the same except for the drinkup we had afterwards.
God I love my team.

Green Up
On a happy note,
Last week Wednesday I spoke at a press conference here at Seattle University with Major Renolds, Seattle City Light, and the president of SU. It was regarding the fact that SU signed on to the Mayors and SCL's "Green UP" program. My part in it was to talk about how I, a student, became inspired to become more sustainable and why I started the GEC. I thought I did terrible but apparently it was great.
Kinda cool huh?
When I remember I will add the link to the article written about it.
Update: 12-11-2006
So I finnaly found a video of the press conference. God, I only listened to the last half of my speech and my mouth dropped open because I never knew I sounded that gay. At least you couldn't tell how badly I was shaking behind that pedistal, seriously, if you did you would of thought I was having a stoke or something.

begin
OK, I figure if you are going to have a blog you have to post in it right?
The question is what?
I was going to wait to use this blog for when I went to Grenoble, France. You know, as a sort of way for my parents and friends to see how I was doing and that no, I haven't yet gotten runover by a irishman on a vespa.
But.....the fact that it is sitting here stairing at me with blank pages if annoying the freak out of me, so might as well post in it while I am here.
so, let us begin
